All Purpose Cleaner

  • 16 oz glass spray bottle
  • 1 mini stainless steel funnel
  • 1 cup of distilled water
  • 1 cup of white distilled vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon of natural dish soap
  • 15 drops of lemon essential oil
  • 10 drops of tea tree essential oil

Using a 16 ounce spray bottle, remove the top, and pour distilled water and white distilled vinegar into the bottle. Add natural dish soap, lemon essential oil, and tea tree. Remove the funnel and reattach the lid. Shake well before cleaning a surface and reap the benefits of a natural essential oil cleaning solution.

Wood Polish

  • 1 16 oz glass spray bottle
  • 1 mini stainless steel funnel
  • 1 cup of olive oil
  • 1 cup of distilled water
  • 30 drops of lemon essential oil
  • 10 drops orange wild orange essential oil

Using a 16 ounce spray bottle, remove the top and secure the mini stainless steel funnel to its opening, pour one cup of olive oil and distilled water into the bottle. Add lemon and orange essential oils. Remove the funnel and reattach the lid. Shake well, spray on any wooden surface, and see the shine of your essential oil wood polish.

Carpet Stain Remover

  • 4 cups warm water divided
  • 1 half teaspoon clear still soap or dish soap
  • 10 drops lemon essential oil

Mix two cups of warm water, the soap, and the essential oil. Soak a rag in the mixture, wring it out, and gently wash the stain. Use a clean rag soaked in the remaining two cups of warm water and remove the residue of the soap solution with the fresh water until the stain is gone. Remember to not rub hard on the carpet stain, as rubbing will ruin the carpet fibers.

Stainless Steel Cleaner

  • 16 ounce glass spray bottle

  • 2 ounce liquid castile soap

  • 5 drops lemon essential oil

  • 5 drops On Guard essential oil blend

  • 5 drops Balance blend essential oil blend

  • Distilled water

Add all ingredients to the bottle. Fill the remaining space with distilled water and use the mixture on stainless steel appliances. Wipe off with a rag.

Upholstered Fabric Cleaner

  • 1⁄4 cup warm water

  • 2 teaspoons castile soap

  • 3 drops lime essential oil

Mix ingredients in a container. Dip a cloth in the mixture and rub onto the stain for quick spot treatments on any fabric.

Grill Cleaner

  • 16 ounce glass bottle
    Baking soda

  • 3 tablespoons castile soap

  • 20 drops lemon essential oil

  • White vinegar

Combine castile soap and lemon oil. Fill the remainder of the spray bottle with white vinegar. Sprinkle baking soda on the grill and then spray solution onto the grill. Let it sit on the grill for at least 30 minutes before clean.

Leather Cleaner

  • 1⁄4 cup of oil

  • 1⁄2 cup white vinegar

  • 3 drops of Eucalyptus

  • 8 ounce spray bottle

Mix the ingredients together in your spray bottle and shake it well. Spray the leather down and wipe it clean with a cotton cloth. Please note that this recipe is perfectly safe for regular leather, but it is not designed to be used on suede

Dusting Spray

  • 1 cup of water

  • distilled or boiled water

  • 1⁄4 cup vinegar

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 15 drops of lemon or wild orange essential oil

Combine ingredients in a spray bottle, spray on a microfiber cloth and apply to the surface to clean polish and keep dust away. Shake the bottle before each use.

Bathroom Cleaning Soap Scum Remover

  • 2 cups hot water

  • 1⁄4 to 1⁄2 cup borax

  • 20 drops of lemon essential oil

Add ingredients to a spray bottle and shake well. Spray surfaces and wipe dry. Store in a cool place for up to two months.

Window and Mirror Cleaner

  • 2 cups water

  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar

  • 2 tablespoons rubbing alcohol

  • 5 drops peppermint essential oil

Add ingredients to a spray bottle and shake well. Spray on windows and mirrors and wipe dry. Store in a cool place for up to two months.

Disinfecting Cleaning Wipes

  • 12 thick and durable paper towels

  • 1 cup distilled water

  • 1 half cup white vinegar

  • 1⁄4 cup rubbing alcohol

  • 5 drops lavender essential oil

  • 5 drops lemon essential oil

Grab paper towels, fold in half, and stack into a neat pile. Roll up and stuff into a quart size, wide mouth mason jar or large ziplock bag. Mix ingredients and pour over paper towels. Wait until liquid is absorbed and towels before using.

Mold and Mildew Preventer

  • 2 cups of water

  • 30 drops tea tree oil

  • 10 drops peppermint

Add ingredients to a spray bottle and shake well. Spray directly on mold or mildew. Do not rinse. Repeat daily or weekly as needed.

Disinfecting Toilet Bowel Cleaner

  • 1⁄2 cup baking soda

  • 1⁄4 cup white vinegar

  • 10 drops tea tree oil

Mix ingredients together until the baking soda is dissolved. Add to the toilet, and let it sit for five to fifteen minutes. Scrub with a toilet brush and flush.

Drain Cleaner

  • 1⁄4 cup baking soda

  • 1⁄4 cup distilled white vinegar

  • 3 drops wild orange essential oil

Poor essential oil directly down the drain, followed by baking soda, and then the vinegar. Allow it to sit for 15 minutes, then pour hot water down the drain, followed by cold water to unclog the drain.

Sticker and Goo Remover

  • 1 tablespoon baking soda

  • 1 tablespoon almond or vegetable oil

  • 2 drops lemon essential oil

Mix into a small glass bowl, and apply a small amount to the sticker or label. Let it sit for one to two minutes. Use a cloth or paper towel to remove, and apply again, if needed.

Odor Tablets for Garbage Cans

  • 2 cups baking soda

  • 1 cup Epsom salt

  • 1⁄4 cup water

  • 10 drops lemon oil

  • 5 drops peppermint oil

  • Ice cube tray

Combine ingredients. Slowly add water, then the oils, and stir. Using a spoon, transfer mixture into the ice cube tray without overfilling the tray. Allow it to dry overnight and, until hardened, place wanted tablets in the bottom of your garbage can, and store the rest in an airtight container. Replace tablets, as needed.

Over Cleaner Spray

  • 1 cup warm water

  • 3 tablespoons baking soda

  • 1 tablespoon gusto soap

  • 5 drops lemon oil

  • 5 drops clove oil

Add all ingredients into a spray bottle and shake to combine. Spray liberally in the oven and let sit for 15 minutes. Wipe clean with a sponge or cloth.

Oven Cleaner Paste

  • 1 cup baking soda

  • 1⁄2 cup water

  • 1 tablespoon castille soap

  • 10 drops lemon oil

Combine ingredients in a bowl to form a paste. Apply with a sponge, and let it sit up to 30 minutes. Wipe off with a cloth or sponge and water.

Bathroom Cleaner

  • 3⁄4 cup baking soda

  • 1⁄4 cup liquid castile soap

  • 1 tablespoon water

  • 1 tablespoon vinegar

  • 5 to 10 drops lemon essential oil

In a bowl, combine baking soda, castile soap, and water, then stir. Add vinegar and lemon essential oil. Make bathroom cleaner in small batches, and store in an airtight container. It’s excellent for removing soap and scum stains, and brightening tiles. Apply, and let sit for five to ten minutes and scrub. Once you’re done scrubbing, wipe clean with a cloth.

Glass Cleaner

  • 16 ounce spray bottle

  • 1 1⁄2 cup white vinegar

  • 1⁄2 cup water

  • 8 drops lemon oil

Add vinegar, water and lemon oil in a spray bottle, and shake. Spray on a glass surface, then wipe.
