About Me
Hi. My name is Atanaska Adams and my nickname is Atty. I live in beautiful Washington state, USA. I was born in Bulgaria, and lived there for the first 26 years of my life.
Growing up I enjoyed a holistic lifestyle, living off of what we raised in our small farm. My mom was a nurse, but was also interested in the medicinal use of plants thus instilled in me a deep love for natural medicine.
We had a beautiful flower garden, a few animals, and lots of vegetables, herbs and fruit trees.
I earned my degree in English Philology and taught English as a Second Language in a high school in the gorgeous historic city of Veliko Turnovo, but since I was 8 I had a dream of living in an English-speaking country. An opportunity arose in 1999 and I got a contract as an au-pair in the United States.
After living and working as an au-pair for a year I found the love of my life. I married him and now we have 3 amazing children. I continued to work in the public schools and a community college as a substitute teacher and an ESL instructor.
After my 2nd child was born I found out my blood levels were very low and I was in a lot of physical discomfort. With the 3rd pregnancy, it got much worse and I was extremely tired. I saw a hematologist for over a year and had multiple tests done and tried a variety of solutions with not much improvement.
A few months after my third child was born I had one of those miserable days when all of my children were not feeling well and I had extreme fatigue. That was in April of 2010. I called my best friend who had just started using essential oils and was very excited to share them with me. She came over with a box of 10 essential oils plus a diffuser, from a company called doTERRA. She started diffusing a blend called Breathe. She put a couple of drops of Lemon in my glass of water and she let me smell and try all that she had brought. I immediately fell in love with the essential oils and decided at that very moment to share these gifts of the Earth with the world. I was reminded once again of the healing power of nature I knew growing up.
I invited a few of my friends and neighbors and hosted my first holistic health event two weeks later. Within a short time I was surrounded by a great community, a wonderful team of people who loved their new doTERRA natural and healthy lifestyle, and together we have impacted the lives of thousands of individuals. My life has changed drastically. The blood levels increased to a normal range and the discomfort has subsided significantly due to the essential oils and supplements by doTERRA.
doTERRA has blessed me and my family in tremendous ways physically, emotionally, socially and financially. I am in good health now. I have a great community of friends and like-minded people. My income exceeds far beyond what I imagined and I have the freedom to work with a flexible schedule and at my own pace. We have traveled to visit my family in Europe multiple times in the last few years and my children and I have been able to stay connected with my roots.
My calling in life is to teach people. Throughout the years I have learned an amazing amount of information about natural health, working with people and creating a legacy of sustainable and long lasting residual income, which can be passed on to future generations. I love to teach this information to individuals who want to help themselves and have a positive impact in the world. Most of all I have joy and a peace of mind.
I have taught and coached people about natural health individually and in groups for many years. I can’t wait to help you achieve greater peace and joy, and experience greater health and wellness with the essentials of wellness taught on my website.
About the Website
I created this website with the intention of connecting with people around the world who want to do what I do, to teach others about holistic health and help improve their lives, thus creating a residual income allowing them to enjoy life more and to give more. My goal is also to inspire people to connect with their roots on multiple levels, with their ancestors, with nature, with each other, with the deep sources of freedom. I love what I do and I can’t wait to connect with you!
I want to express my gratitude to some of the most important people in my life.
I am very grateful to my mother Petra, whose caring nature, dedication, passion for learning and curiosity for natural health has made me who I am today. Her formal education in the medical field and nutrition plus the many books on herbs and other healing modalities that we had in our house had prepared me for what I do now. We always had an amazing garden with an enormous variety of flowers, vegetables and fruit which she took great care of and taught me the importance of eating healthy and taking good care of my body. Even now when she is retired people continue to visit her and ask for her help and advice about their health. She is an inspiration and a motivation for me to keep learning, educating and helping others. Thank you, mom!
I am grateful to my dad Kircho, who encouraged me to learn English since I was a child. He also taught me the importance of honesty, integrity and hard work. He helped me to see my talents and to be courageous. He valued education and instilled in me a desire for learning and personal growth. He also taught me how to connect with people and be more charismatic. Thank you dad! I know you are in heaven cheering me on!
Thank you also to my wise and loving husband and the kindest and most talented and amazing children! I am very blessed to have this family. Thank you as well to my sister Ginka who has taught me and inspired me greatly! I truly admire her! Thank you to my soul sister Delmar who introduced me to the essential oils and doTERRA and for the many wonderful friends and team members! Most importantly I thank my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ! Through prayer I witnessed many miracles which built and strengthened my faith in them. I know they sustain me daily and lead me on to the next great thing. I live my life based on their guidance and inspiration.
