Cook With doTERRA’s Cinnamon Bark

Cinnamon is extracted from a tropical, evergreen tree with very aromatic bark, leaves, and flowers that may grow up to 45 feet tall. Cinnamon is commonly used in mouthwashes and chewing gum. Cinnamon should be diluted with a carrier oil before applying it to the skin due to its high cinnamaldehyde concentration. Since cinnamon essential oil has a high concentration of cinnamaldehyde, just one or two drops of oil are required for internal effects. When applied to the skin, Cinnamon Bark oil should also be diluted with doTERRA Fractionated Coconut Oil. Cinnamon, with its sweet and spicy perfume, is an excellent diffuser oil and can even help to repel insects organically. Cinnamon Bark essential oil has long been used to improve the flavor of beverages, bread, sweets, and entrees, in addition to its internal and exterior applications and advantages.
