doTERRA Copaiba Essential Oil and Its Uses
Copaiba oil promotes cardiovascular, neurological, digestive, immunological, and respiratory health. doTERRA Copaiba oil is derived from four different varieties of copaiba in Brazil. A high-potency essential oil is created by combining the advantages of the most powerful copaiba species. Copaiba oil has a pleasant, spicy, and woody scent that can help settle emotions and alleviate nervous moods. It is an excellent oil to use after a long day.

Copaiba essential oil is extracted from the resin of the copaiba tree, which may reach heights of over 100 feet and is native to tropical South America. Copaiba oil is commonly found in cosmetics such as soaps, creams, lotions, and fragrances. Copaiba oil, like Black Pepper essential oil, offers a calming, earthy scent when used for perfume. Copiaba, which contains beta-caryophyllene, can be cleansing when applied to the skin and may produce a clean, smooth complexion.
The copaiba tree’s oleoresin is collected uniquely among essential oils—it is tapped from the tree, similar to how maple trees are tapped for syrup, and then steam distilled to generate the essential oil.
Skincare: When applied topically, copaiba essential oil softly cleanses, soothes, and hydrates the skin. Add a drop of Copaiba oil to your face toner or use doTERRA Touch Copaiba straight to your skin before moisturizing to maintain your complexion bright and healthy.
Moisturizer: Add one or two drops of Copaiba oil to your favorite unscented lotion (try doTERRA® SPA Hand & Body Lotion) and massage into your hands and skin for an extra moisturizing boost.
Foot Soak: Add two drops of Copaiba oil to a bowl of hot water with Epsom salts for a refreshing scent as part of a foot soak to reap the skin-soothing effects. Try this recipe for DIY Foot Fizzies using Copaiba oil for a truly wonderful experience.
Personal Aroma: By applying doTERRA Touch Copaiba to your inner wrists and neck, you may use Copaiba oil as a personal scent. Copaiba essential oil can also be used with oils that complement its earthy scent, such as Roman Chamomile oil, Cedarwood oil, Frankincense oil, or Ylang Ylang oil. Fill the balance of the roller bottle with Fractionated Coconut Oil and apply it as a one-of-a-kind, naturally based scent.
Bath Aroma: Use Copaiba oil in a relaxing bath to give yourself the royal self-care treatment. Add two to three drops to your bath water or blend with your favorite bath gel before lathering in it.
Diffusion: Diffuse 2-3 drops of Copaiba essential oil in a sunny room during meditation for an invigorating and stabilizing scent.
